Iguazu Falls: Brazil or Argentina side? Both — here's the order

PortuguêsEspañol

80% of the falls are in Argentina, but the panoramic view is Brazilian

The two sides of Iguazu Falls complement each other: the Brazilian side delivers the panoramic view of the whole system (half a day is enough), while the Argentine side, home to 80% of the falls, offers immersive circuits above and below the water — including the walkway over the Devil's Throat (a full day). Ideally, spend one day on each side; the Argentine park gives 50% off on the second consecutive day.

Brazilian side (Foz do Iguaçu): the classic postcard — you walk facing the full panorama with the Devil''s Throat in the distance. The main trail takes 3–4 hours at a relaxed pace. Pairs perfectly with Parque das Aves (bird park) at the park entrance.

Argentine side (Puerto Iguazú): 80% of the falls are here, and the experience is immersion: Upper Circuit (above the falls), Lower Circuit (at the base), an ecological train, and the walkway that ends on top of the Devil''s Throat. Plan a full day.

Which order? Either works, but most visitors prefer the Brazilian panorama first (to understand the whole), then the Argentine immersion.

Can you do both in one day? Technically yes — in practice, don''t: two border crossings, two tickets, and half the experience of each.

Money saver: the Argentine park gives 50% off the second consecutive day (validate your ticket before leaving; valid for 72 hours).
